Steve Wiser is JRA’s Director of Healthcare Design. He has over 30 years of experience in healthcare architecture, and over $2 billion dollars of completed construction in place. His responsibilities include design of clinics and hospitals, as wells as code assessments. He has completed numerous JCAHO Statement of Conditions and Life Safety evaluations and provides design services for projects across the nation.
He is the author of numerous healthcare design articles that have appeared in regional and national publications. Recent articles include “Golden Rules for Healthcare Construction” which appeared in Health Facilities Management, “Visualizing Expectations” for Healthcare Building Ideas, and he has had numerous articles featured in the monthly publication Medical News. He has also written the book No Surprises: Minimizing Change Orders in Hospital Construction.
Mr. Wiser is a regularly featured speaker at national healthcare conferences.
