Branching Out

First Federal Bank Leestown Road

First Federal Bank Leestown Road

Leestown Road—part of a rapidly expanding segment of Lexington, Kentucky—was the perfect spot for First Federal Bank to build a new branch to meet the needs of a growing community. JRA Architects, with its deep experience in financial services architecture, made the perfect partner for the bank on the endeavor. During the planning phase we uncovered the client’s needs and then explored the best possible paths to achieve them.

Given the location and potential space requirements, we designed a new, one-story facility along with parking and other site work such as walkways, curbing and landscaping. The exterior walls—a combination of face brick and stone trim—create a beautiful and welcoming exterior for the steel-framed structure. Finishes include vinyl composition and ceramic tile, carpeting, suspended acoustic panel ceilings and plastic laminate casework, which create a visually appealing and relaxing environment. The deep wood tones and the colorful accents throughout the space create a warm, inviting atmosphere that helps ensure customers feel at home.

Today the bank’s new branch serves as a catalyst for growth and as a perfect space for customers to connect with First Federal associates to meet their banking needs.
