Mr. Merkel serves as the Director of Building Information Modeling (BIM) Technologies at JRA and utilizes this expertise to deliver quality construction documents to the firm’s clients. His proficiency with BIM enables him to lead integrated project teams to design and document construction projects with a high degree of coordination, saving our clients time and money.
His experience with a variety of project types, including education, institutional, health care, and wellness, allows him to resolve any issue by drawing from his well-rounded foundation of knowledge. This experience, when combined with an integrated team of professionals, allows him to contribute design solutions that are both creative and responsive to the needs of our clients. Over the years, Mr. Merkel’s leadership skills have been utilized in various professional, philanthropic, and civic organizations through President of Central Kentucky AIA, as a member of the Young Professionals Association of Louisville, Secretary of Louisville Downtown Residents Association, and as House Coordinator for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Louisville.
